David was anointed king over all Israel at Hebron. Then he went up and took Jerusalem from the Jebusites. Hiram king of Tyre sent men and cedar to build David a house. The Philistines came up twice into the valley of Rephaim. David beat them at Baal-perazim and chased them to Gezer. In 2 Samuel 5:25 the King James Bible reads "from Geba until thou come to Gazer." The map writes Gibeon, from 1 Chronicles 14:16.
